The blossom music center is one of the largest amphitheaters in
Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. This is a music center whose pavilion seats can
accommodate up to 5.700 people. It also has a large space that can accommodate
more than 13,500 people on the lawn. This amphitheater is the traditional
summer home for the Cleveland Orchestra. The Cleveland Orchestra usually
performs annual festivals at the amphitheater. The Blossom Music Center also
hosts full schedules during the summer of popular symphonic performances and
music acts. This venue is owned by Musical Arts Association, which is the
non-profit organization for the orchestra. The site's setting is naturally
parabolic; its pavilion has a sloping slate roof while the wooded natural surroundings
of the whole area distinguish the amphitheater from other present-day
amphitheaters.
The blossom music center cleveland sits on a 320 ha (800 acres) piece
of land made up of natural woods in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which is
about 16 km (10 miles) North of Akron and 53 km (33 miles) south of Cleveland.
One of the most common performances at the amphitheater is the Carnival of
Horrors, which is held annually in October. The Carnival of Horrors has been
held at the amphitheater since 2003. This venue has generally played host to
several music festivals since it was established and some of these include the
Buzzard Festival, Crue Fest 1 and 2, Furthur Festival, EndFest, Country
Throwdown Tour, Curiosa Festival, HORDE Festival, Lilith Fair, Honda Civic
Tour, Mayhem Festival, Projekt Revolution, Ozzfest, Vans Warped Tour and Uproar
Festival among many other festivals.
A typical blossom music center schedule will include many festivals and music
concerts. The Michael Stanley Band, which is one of the most popular bands in
Northeast Ohio, set the highest attendance record at the amphitheater of
74,404. Although the band is popular in this region, it is not known elsewhere.
The record was set in August of 1982 and performed four shows on which were all
sold-out. Other concerts and music festivals that have also been held at the
amphitheater have attracted huge crowds but none has come close to the one held
by the Michael Stanley Band.
The Blossom music center is
generally the place to be in Ohio during the summer. This is because there are
so many activities that take place at the amphitheater including music
concerts, festivals and the annual Carnival of Horrors. Before visiting the
amphitheater, it is highly recommended that one should purchase tickets online
because these are not usually sold at the venue. It is also important to follow
the rules and understand the structure of the compound to know where to park a
vehicle. in order to get seats, one should visit the concert early before an
event begins.
